In this episode, we compare two Coriolanus films: Ralph Fiennes’ 2011 film (in which he stars) and the 2014 Donmar production starring Tom Hiddleston. The Donmar production was recorded live by NTLive and directed by Josie Rourke. Ralph Fiennes played the titular role in his film.

We compare Fiennes’ cold, terrifying Coriolanus with Hiddleston’s more humane Coriolanus. We also look at how the two productions depict Antium and Rome.
